Our after school technology clubs are designed to get your 7 – 16 year olds thinking creatively and becoming more confident with technology. The students are introduced to a variety of activities and then encouraged to focus on the activities which interest them the most, making these sessions child-led rather than adult-led.
Activities include, but are not limited to, coding in Scratch, using the BBC micro:bit, designing and coding games, 3D design, 3D printing and even learning to sew!
Although the main content of these sessions is using technology, our passion at STEM Venturi is to nurture the innate confidence and creativity of kids that sometimes gets pushed to one side as they grow older. Whilst digital skills are going to be important for their futures, creative problem solving, analytical thinking and curiosity are vital building blocks to understanding the world around us.
Join us in this technology club and lets see where our imagination can take us!
