STEM Club & Workshop Leader
Location: South Derbyshire / Staffordshire
Hours: 10 hours per week
Pay: £20 per session starting rate

We are recruiting a brilliant, energetic person to join STEM Venturi as a STEM Club & Workshop Leader — someone who loves hands‑on making, teaching, and inspiring young people.
This role blends after‑school clubs, holiday clubs, and weekday STEM workshops, with a balance of structure and creative freedom.
Hours
- 10 hours per week during term time (after‑school clubs + occasional workshops)
- Full days during school holidays (holiday clubs and project days)
- Flexible scheduling
- Additional hours available as we grow
What you’ll do
- Lead after‑school STEM clubs using our ready‑made curriculum
- Deliver hands‑on STEM workshops during the school day
- Run full‑day holiday clubs with support from our team
- Create a fun, calm, inclusive environment for young learners
- Bring your own ideas and personality into the sessions — we love creativity
- Work closely with our wider team for training, support, and resources
What we’re looking for
- Experience working with children (teaching, tutoring, youth work, mentoring)
- Confidence with practical STEM activities (coding, building, making, problem‑solving)
- Someone reliable, warm, and enthusiastic
- A person who enjoys both structure and the freedom to make sessions their own
Pay
Starting from: £20 per session
- Increases with experience, autonomy, and ability to lead full-day programmes
- Holiday club days paid at an equivalent full‑day rate
- All curriculum, materials, and training provided

Private Tutors (Python, 3D CAD – Onshape, General Coding)
Location: National (online tutoring)
Hours: Flexible – after school / early evening and/or day time
Pay: £18–£25 per hour (dependent on experience)
Start: May 2026
We are looking for passionate tutors to support young people as they explore coding, engineering, and digital design. If you love helping learners grow in confidence, this is a chance to make a real impact.
We’re recruiting tutors in:
- Python programming
- 3D CAD using Onshape
- General coding and computational thinking
Starting from:
- £22 per hour for general coding and Python
- £30 per hour for specialist CAD or advanced Python
What you’ll do:
- Deliver 1:1 or small‑group sessions
- Support learners of mixed ages and abilities
- Bring STEM to life through practical, engaging teaching
- Work flexibly around your availability

After‑School Club Leads (Starting September)
Lead a STEM Club in Your Community
Location: Midlands, National
Hours: 3pm – 5pm weekdays, term time
Pay: Starting from £30 per session, dependent on number of students and length of session
Start: September 2026
From September 2026, we are expanding our network of after‑school STEM clubs — and we are looking for enthusiastic leaders to run them. Whether you want to set up a club near you or join an existing venue, we’ll support you every step of the way.
What the role involves:
- Running weekly after‑school STEM clubs
- Creating a fun, hands‑on environment for young learners
- Using our ready‑made teaching materials and session plans
- Building a local community of curious, confident makers

As a facilitator, you will:
